This new series of relief prints is crafted from a single block of plywood created using computational design and laser cutting. The printing process involved inking the plate twice and shifting it for an offset effect, utilizing eco-friendly soy-based inks. The series is inspired by my previous work with multi-colored blown glass, focusing on the optical effects of color interactions and the negative space between overlapping glass pieces. My goal is to translate the aesthetic and physical nuances of glassblowing into a two-dimensional format, capturing these dynamic visual moments through relief printing.
